2016 Western Tour

Welcome to the 2016 Western Tour Page

26 June - Travel and Dyersville, Iowa

If you build it they will come. After traveling most of the day we visited the set of the movie, Field of Dreams, and played a concert and a little baseball.

27 June - Lewis and Clark Scout Camp and Corn Palace

On Monday we visited the world's only Corn Palace and played a concert at the Lewis and Clark Scout Camp in Yankton, South Dakota.

28 June - Minuteman Missle National Historic Site, Badlands National Park, and Wall Drug

We visited The Minuteman Missile field covering part of South Dakota including 150 Launch Control Facilities. The Badlands National Park was a geological wonder and contains one of the world's richest fossil beds. Our last stop was at Wall Drug, the worlds largest drugstore with free water advertised for 300 miles around.

29 June - Custer State Park, Mammoth Site, Baseball

Custer State Park home to over 1,300 bison as well as many other animals was our first stop. Next we took a step back in time to visit over 60 mammoths. We finished the day with a concert at a baseball game.

30 June - Devils Tower, Jewel Cave, Crazy Horse, Medicine Mountain Scout Camp, Mount Rushmore

This was the busiest day of tour with visits to multiple places in the Black Hills crossing two states.

1 July - Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center

Started our drive back home with a stop at the Lewis and Clark interpretive Center and the Hard Rock Hotel in Sioux City, Iowa.

2 July - Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum

Day seven featured learning about Abraham Lincoln at his museum in Springfield, Illinois.

3 July - Back Home again in Indiana

The last day of tour allowed us to finish the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum visit and travel back home again.
